If they ever did make a ME 2 they should make it a full 3rd persion adventure. I know the FPS elements were the "hook" but it work so much better if you could naturally see where you where headed.

I got it from Games on Demand during the summer, and I really enjoyed it. Not the best, and definitely wonky at times, but really fun overall.

Plus, achievements are really fucking easy, which is always a plus. Pretty proud of myself for beating the game without killing anyone.

I'm hoping to get that this year as well. I've been a beast on the past games but stopped playing around Smackdown vs Raw 2008. Those games are about the only ones that I'll actually say I'm pretty decent at once I get into them for some one on one action.

Super Metroid remains one of my favorite titles to this day and Fusion is the result of what happens when Metroid and Super Metroid procreate. You get a beautiful game in story, sound (plug in earphones if you haven't), environment, enemies, etc.., The only other game I would have been as excited receiving would have been A Link To The Past!

Metroid is a highly underrated and under appreciated series.

My opinions generally are set in stone when it comes to games but I've changed a bit with Skyward Sword. If you can make it through the first 4-6 hours you will experience a much more exciting and intense gaming experience then you did in the first few hours. This is the first Zelda game requiring an abundance of patience. The story is the typical Zelda fare but I'm lead to believe it will eventually offer the answers to some of the unanswered questions in this series.

Tell me about it. I told myself not to fully judge the game, until I'm at least 10 hours in, because I've heard the beginning is terrible. They weren't lying. This game is just a chore early on. I'm at the first dungeon, after you get the sword, and I don't think I could be any more bored. My biggest problem is that the map is a piece of shit, and the waypoint system is a joke as well. Sure, you can place waypoints, but if something is in the way of it, you can't see it. It's completely useless. I've gotten lost in the smallest of areas. It's easier to navigate a city in Skyrim.

I also can't stand that when you exit an area, everything in the area is reset. It would be okay, if there was experience points to gain, but there isn't. I don't want to kill the same group of enemies over and over, just because I needed to grab a shield from Skyloft. I also don't want to go around the level, and have to put all the shortcuts back in place. It's 2011 guys, drop the bullshit gameplay elements from the 8-bit era already.

I'll be patient, but this game better show me something other than dated game design real soon.

I used to carve that up on emulators. Metroid is easily my favourite game franchise. I'm going to buy whatever Nintendo console souly to be able to play the newest Metroid games. They are just so wonderfully made.

Re-rented MGS 4 for the hell of it. That fucking game still has one of the best moments in gaming (the microwave hall) and I still loved the ending fight where they cycle through all the themes.
