This Spring's write off is now over, we got some great stories and some really close scores.

Story #1: The Itch At The End Of The World – Willowfang
Readability: 3.875 (Highest Readability)
Concept: 4.00
Atmosphere: 3.875
Total: 3.917 (Highest Atmosphere)

Story #2: Footsteps by Erebus Dirge
Readability: 3.60
Concept: 4.10 (Highest Concept)
Atmosphere: 3.60
Total: 3.767

Story #3: Sutter Dixon by Spaced
Readability: 3.25
Concept: 3.875
Atmosphere: 3.75
Total: 3.625

This is my first win and I had a lot of fun writing mine. Looks like the modifications to rating Atmosphere worked well since our last write off.

Our next write off will start it's specific discussion on the first Monday of August, writing on the first Monday of September for 6 weeks and the posting of stories a couple of weeks before Halloween so we can have something to read before and not after this time.

I also may need some help running it this fall since I'll prolly be busy with my Wedding in October. I don't know if this looks hard or not, but it really isn't. Just need to be there to make a few decision if something comes up, be there to receive the stories, make sure they're post-able, nothing racist, too graphic, pornographic, or some other sort of offensive. Then just a little math you can do with the calculator on your phone or computer.

I'll remind people when we start up in August, just something to think about.
