I liked Dog Soldiers alot. There's also this movie called Creep which was pretty cool too.

My vote goes to The Descent. I think that it's cool that Neil Marshall has two films running neck and neck in this poll.

For horror at its purist - The Descent is in fact the british horror film I have seen. It's easily the finest horror flick in the last few years, barring possibly Haute Tension.
Dog Soilders I saw more as a action-thriller, in the Aliens mould.

Being from the UK myself "The Descent" is something to be proud of.It being something totally new,it's hard to impress these days.I wish Clive Barker would do more work in film.He's the man, I think, could really carry the flag for the British horror film.

the decent and 28 days later < definatley one of my faves...i think us Brits are only just getting the hang of the horror thing....personally i think most of it is crap. I find Asians are the people with the right idea about how to do horror...thats in my opinion though.

too true. we really have learned a few lessons from american horror, but have given them something back in return eg;less is more,etc
