the rams also don't already have troy aikman, michael irvin, daryl johnston, ken norton, and a ton of other players, not to mention i don't think they can eyball talent like jimmy johnson and larry lacewell. i just think the rams will fuck this up, and they're not starting off with enough. it's too bad bradford had such a tuf season, and is now an uncertain commodity when previously, he seemed like the answer to all their problems. and i will be curious to see what jeff's got, if he can get these guys goin, and do so before steven jackson's tank is empty.

Granted, the need to re-sign Wallace was a bigger deal then what Hines has done.

I thought there was a chance they'd keep him considering he went on record saying he'd take pay cut. But he doesn't contribute on special teams and his game has no doubt diminished. Couple that with the wealth of talent they have at that position and the need resign not just Wallace but also Cotchery I can understand the move.

For almost half of my life I've rooted for this team with Ward being the face of the offense. The guy played his entire career without cartilage in his knee, had great hands and always would make the tough catch in traffic, (especially on 3rd down) was a great route-runner & more than solid after the catch and he's hands down the toughest & best blocking receiver ever. More than anything I enjoyed watching him knock out the guys who were the ones used to doling out punishment. It's going to be weird not seeing him out there. Even moreso if he is but in another uniform which it sounds like is going to be the case.





And it's been reported that now both Aaron Smith & James Farrior are going to be released. Smith is arguably both the most underrated player of his generation and the best 3/4 defensive lineman of all time. (without question the best to ever suit up for the steelers) He'll always be one of my favorites. Farrior is without a doubt the best free agent signing in Steelers history. Started the second he became a Steeler and did so for 11 years at an extremely high level. While not as much as Smith he was an underrated player and should've won defensive player of the year in 04. I'm sure alot of that is due to Lewis being in the same division yet one can easily make the case that he was the better player from 2004-2010.



Lame song but quality footage. He was a sick player.... I understand these cuts and they are necessary but fuck, I'm going to miss these guys. It's the end of an era.
