Default Beyond Dead: New Horror Comic

Beyond Dead is my first self published comic title available on createspace and amazon. It is a zombie comic heavily influenced by 80s horror films (good and bad). The book plays out as an entertaining satire of the zombie genre chock-full of references I feel only a true horror fan would appreciate. If I've got your attention check out the website at www.beyonddeadcomic.com. Like the book on Facebook for up coming contest and special offers at www.facebook.com/beyonddeadcomic

After visiting the site let me know what you think, I'm open to any feedback good or bad.

I think it looks great! Nice job. You can tell your love for the horror genre. I liked your page and shared it on mine and my sites Facebook. Good luck!

Very impressive. The artwork is lush and distinctive.

Is it my imagination, or am I seeing the subtlest bit of a Vaughn Bode influence in your work?

Vaughn Bode, maybe subconsciously yes. I could see where you would get that because I was looking to make the characters look cartoony but with a grittiness to the details, which is kind of the feel of the book as a whole. Anyways, I'll take that as a major complement!

Thanks for following the book Wonderlust, surprising it's been hard to get comic folks on board with "another zombie comic" but like I said in the first post, I don't think you can fully appreciate the book unless your a big horror fan.

It took me a really long time to get this done and it seems like every time I look through it I find something inspired by films that I forgot I had put in there.
