#1. Since it's the only one I've seen and I don't care enough to see the rest.

I watched the original Sleepaway Camp about 20 years ago and besides the ending, I hardly remember anything it at all. I know for a fact I didn't watch the 2 sequels.

But I did win the trilogy in Rick's Trivia a few weeks ago, and have been patiently waiting for the DVD's to arrive in the mail. I would never have spent my own cash for these DVD's, so I'm thrilled that I actually won them for free. I'll finally be caught up to speed on the Sleepaway Camp movies (not sure if that's a good or bad thing).

the 1st one will always be the best. It had quite possibly one the most shocking endings I have ever witnessed. the sequels, on the other hand, I think, are a bit of an aquired taste. Their nothing like their predecessor, yet they were still enjoyable and fun. They actually poked fun at the slasher genre more, purposely overusing slasher stereotypes and being more comedic, but it still gave the same theme as the first, which was killing people who always picked on others and in a way deserved what they got. Great movies for people who were picked on constantly as kids, imo at least.

If you havent seen the sequels yet, all I recommend is not to expect anything like the 1st, expect more of a humorous approach at the slasher genre and getting back at the people who in ways, had it coming.

as for the order I liked'em

1.Sleepaway Camp
2.Sleepaway Camp 3:Teenage Wasteleand
3.Sleepaway Camp 2:Unhappy Campers
