Placebo used to be one of my favorite bands, but over the past few years I've grown out of them. Looking back on it, I don't think they've actually released an album I like in it's entirety. Great songs, but not great albums. There is one song that I will always go back to though:

I do still listen to some others quite a bit (Sleeping With Ghosts, I'll Be Yours, Allergic (To Thoughts of Mother Earth), and Haemoglobin to name a few), but Summer's Gone is their best song as far as I'm concerned.

That's a fair assessment. There always seems to be songs I FF on their cds except the S/T which I love to death. It reminds me of bands like The Doors where I really only enjoy maybe 70% of their songs (but those 70% kick some serious booty!).

Am I deranged or does this new Puscifer track is a dead ringer for a Placebo tune? (well except when he says "Toma" a few times at the beginning).

Love this band so much. Their music has literally saved my life. Can't wait to get a Cebo tattoo in July for my Bday!
