Cyborg got popped for roids, and Gina is probably making far more money in Hollywood right now, so she's probably done. It's all about Ronda Rousey these days. She's a Silver Medalist in Judo, and has won all of her fights via armbar. She's also pretty hot for a fighter, so she's very marketable as well. I also think Dana is fucking her. He sure warmed up to WMMA pretty fast, once he started hanging around Rousey.

She's good, but the problem still remains, that there aren't too amny women fighters out there, with high level skill sets. If Ronda loses her debut, I wouldn't be surprised if they just squashed it.

This would be a damn shame. There are some talented women out there that imo put on better fights than the guys do. I do agree though that women's mma is pretty shallow. I'm hoping it all works out though.

I get what you're saying about GSP but I wish they'd stop fucking over fighters that actually deserve a title shot.

I havent really been paying much attention to MMA these days, buy I saw the feed somewhere about the women getting the UFC and figured i would look into the matter.

The 1st 4 prelims were probably the best fights of the night. I enjoyed seeing both BJ and Diaz lose.
I knew Shogun wasn't going to win but Alexander didn't look all that impressive. His striking looked pretty sloppy. I don't see him doing well against Jones at all.

JDS should win tonight. The only way Cain will win is if he manages to get JDS to the mat .. Which is going to be hard.

Let's not forget that Cain blew his knee out before the first fight. His only real option was to stand and bang.

Well that did not go how I imagined. Cain delivered one hell of a beatdown on JDS last night. I was actually surprised it went past the 1st round. JDS has always had cardio problems and it really showed last night.
Miller and Lauzon was the highlight of the night by far. I really thought Miller would walk through Lauzon but it was a great back and forth battle. At times I thought I was watching a slasher flick.
The rest of the card was forgettable.

When? Even in his three rounders against Cro Cop and Carwin, he looked fine cardio wise.

Last night wasn't so much about cardio, as it was about eating haymakers, and getting completely worked over. JDS must've taken at least ten shots, that would've KO'd any other fighter on the planet. He was on wobbly legs for four and a half rounds. Fatigue obviously set in, but nobody is going to be breathing easy, with Cain smothering them. Cain looked pretty exhausted as well near the end, and his cardio is off the charts. Just a tough grind of a fight, that would tire anyone out, especially in the HW division.

JDS' cardio is fine. He just got completely outclassed.

Yeah, that fight was nuts. I couldn't believe the doctors let it go. The doctors were awesome last night. The last three fights could've easily been stopped.

That Leben fight was embarrassing. Now those guys have some terrible cardio. I'm almost willing to bet that Leben doesn't pass his drug test. He looked like he was coming off a three week bender.

Also, am I the only one who thought the crowd was absolutely disgraceful last night? They were booing everything. It's like half the crowd were just there to heckle the fighters.
