Default Evil Dead: The TV Series

Just heard on Facebook....... Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell working on Evil Dead: The TV Series.......

http://bloody-disgusting.com/news/33...campbell-sdcc/

This, I might actually watch......or, they could just make Evil Dead 4.

Thoughts???

So this is it? They finally give the fuck up on any progress of an ED4 and just say "Eh, fuck it, TV show" like everybody else?

Real funny Raimi. Now shut the fuck up and go make Evil Dead 4. Now.

I don't know he just seems like he don't really care anymore, he was overjoyed with the remake when i think most people feel it would have been a much better movie if they changed the name because it dont belong with the evil dead franchise but is a good enough movie to be on its own.

i think it depends on how they do the show, if its teenagers looking for a get away in the cabin i could really careless. maybe if they done each episode as a different generation, that could be interesting starting from maybe the 1600s and going up could be good.

I used to like Sam Raimi. Nowadays, I just want to kick him repeatedly in the nutsack.

Eventually, he was kind of wanted merge the remake with his version. Having Ash & Mia fighting side by side. I think there was a comic book spin off from that idea. With the time traveling & alternate dimension from AoD, he created many possibilities.

I couldn't see this as a TV series at all. Evil Dead needs to feel claustrophobic and intense. How could you space it out over 6 45 minute episodes or what ever? I can't see it working, but it is intriguing.

Got to assume they would cover a new story every episode? Can't imagine Evil Dead being stretched out over a season.

Sam Raimi has repeatedly pissed me off more or less since Spider Man 3. Unlike a lot of people I know I thought Drag Me to Hell was lame too.

This idea of the Evil Dead tv show fucking sucks in my opinion. I was actually on bored with them merging the two universes eventually, but not on the small screen. That being said, depending on the network, I'd give it a shot just because of how much I enjoy the Evil Dead movies.
