Agreed. I've always believed one of the best aspects about those films is that he manages to perfectly homage those TCM films without going overboard.

I don't think Zombie would want to do a Chainsaw movie anyway. Would probably just laugh the idea off.

Nice, looking forward to picking this up. It better be a director's cut!

I figured it'd be either March or April based on the box office. Definitely looking forward to adding this to the collection.

Would hope so, it'd be nice to have a featurette on how they came about Leatherface's look, because the concept art was fucking amazing, & I wish he had used some of those masks too.

The mask was a letdown in this film. Very generic. The concept art shows that the other designs were way better but they didn't use any of them.

I admittedly did really like the first mask a lot. The second mask was a lot more generic, but I liked the fresh look of the first one that was worn. Still, it would've been nice to have seen one of the masks in the concept art used, especially this one:

Of course, this money grubbing cash-in piece of shit didn't go with a mask like that. Doing so meant they would've given an actual shit about honoring the timeline of the original movie. I also bet the bean counters just didn't consider that nearly a "bankable" enough image to sell their movie on. Biggest sham of a TCM movie besides Next Gen.

I'm much more looking forward to the featurette that details how many re-writes this piece of shit went through; which was an extra on one of the Freddy vs. Jason DVD releases. Then again, that's probably why this went in the stupidest direction in the most hamfisted manner possible; they just settled for the first script some hack pooped out.
