There was a time not long ago when both Halloween 3D and TCM 3D were slated for Oct. '12 releases. Now, they're both AWOL. *shakes fists at horror gods*

with all due respect...IT'S A GOD DAMNED CHAINSAW MOVIE!!! It doesn't need a million re-writes and over-thinking by studio execs. All it needs is blood, babes, and leather.

They should've let the rights fall to an independent production company and they would have finished this fucking movie already.

Agreed. Maybe this one will be the "ONE" to break the mold of sucky re-makes. The cameos are a tribute to the original. Add Mosely to it and it should be pretty good.

Well, wouldn't call it a remake. Requel, maybe. It's a "sequel" to the original canon, yet doesn't follow the other sequels. Actually, you can say every sequel in the original canon is a requel, as TCM2, TCM3 and NG have nothing to do with each other, and all treat the first one as the only installment that matters. Saying that, this one will fit in perfectly.

I am pretty stoked for this one mainly because its an actual sequel to the original and not another remake

hopefully this does well and studios notice people like real sequels better than remakes

Yes. That right there perked my interest in this project, and is more of a novel approach than yet another remake/reboot.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Moseley as Drayton as well, though it's very unfortunate that, from what I've read, his role in the film is fairly brief.
