With all the remakes and everything going on, I'm not surprised. I dunno, I like the TCM movies, the original ones and the new ones. I'm also a fan of things in 3D.. put the two together and I'd watch it lol

They rock. TCM 2 is a good modern film that doesn't just rehash the original. Hopefully the new one tries that.

The record store scene when Leatherface first appears scene would be perfect in 3D.

As long as they make Leatherface Physically like in the original or part 2 I'm down for a new one. I hated how they used Andrew Bryniarski as Leatherface and made him buff and trim.

Give me Gunnar Hansen or Bill Johnson over Bryniarski any day!

Which means more than likely, the Platinum Dunes' remake and prequel will be ignored. How is this possible?
Well Twisted Pictures (who have produced the Saw series) has acquired the rights to the series and will be behind the new film. Stephen Susco who penned The Grudge remake is taking up writing duties.

Oh dear...

Discuss.
not sure if there version will be ignored, i hope not anyway, but what i heard is that the new 3d one might take place up to date, which will be different and interesting to see. I think its too quick to make it up to date, they could milk the franchise, for more movies.

You need to get your ass to a 3-D movie girl

It costs a little more but it's worth it!
