Can someone explain to me why this is considered a "mini-series" and Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead are not? Is it because the story is not continuous?

The reveal of bloody face or what ever was so obvious, ya just knew that dude was ganna turn out to be a dick.

I have actually been bored by this season compared to last season. I'm only watching it now to see if it'll get better. I'm sorry but the first season far surpasses the second. I wondered how they would top it while we waited on the second season and the answer is they couldn't.

Heard many good things about it and therefore decided to give it a go. Boy boy, what a fucked up, crazy, weird and twisted series that is!
 Had many wtf-moments through the entire first season, though some moments were script-wise a tad implausible, like for instance some cuts between the living and the spirits. But the whole setup - haunted evil house, good vs evil spirits - was very entertaining, equipped with good perfomances by motivated actors. Jessica Lange is one hell of a twisted bitch in this one, she definitely is still an outstanding actress in her advanced age. All in all, not as great as Breaking Bad, but nevertheless worth the time, when you are a fan of twisted stories with a mature character attached to it. Speaking of mature: damn, the show is sometimes pretty explicit regarding gore and sex.
