Bloody Disgusting Selects, bringing horror to AMC theaters, DVD, and VOD!

This is hands down the best news I've ever been able to post. It's been ten long years in the making, and we're finally at the point where we can help bring quality horror to our readers that would otherwise be forgotten or remade by Hollywood to make a quick buck. Our goal is to bring the best in horror from around the world straight to you via theatrical releases, a DVD line, and VOD. No remakes, just good original horror.

We're proud and excited to announce Bloody Disgusting Selects, a new film series in partnership with The Collective and AMC

We'll be bring films to you via AMC Theaters across the country, our own DVD line, and Video on Demand. I'll be using this thread to update you on acquired movies, theater listings and ticket info, DVD release dates, and VOD options.

You should start seeing posters and marketing in AMC theaters fairly soon, and we're hoping to really get you guys all involved. I'd love to see this turn into a cool event where we can give away prizes, have special guests, and have Bloody Disgusting Infected members get together for a good time.

Any chance AMC in Methuen MA will be one of the theaters? It isn't listed but they get a lot of indie stuff and smaller movies. They have a corner theater that is semi-small that plays movies like this.

It's really close to my house and I have been ableto see a lot of great stuff there.

That's the most recent list I have, I'm assuming it could change based on demand but that's all I've got right now. I can definitely forward this over though and see if we can get it added.

First movie into theaters is going to be Rammbock on May 4th
It's a German zombie film directed by Marvin Kren



Here's a Synopsis:

Heartbroken and clueless, Michael (Michael Fuith) arrives in Berlin to win back the affections of brooding ex-girlfriend Gabi (Anka Graczyk). But he's in for a little disappointment: she's not home and the city is rapidly overrun by bloodthirsty hordes of zombiefied Berliners. His only companion? The plucky Harper (Theo Trebs, "The White Ribbon"), a teenage plumber's apprentice at work in the apartment complex. From their overnight redoubt in Gabi's bedroom, the unlikely duo must escape the infested building, outwit the undead and find her... before it's too late. Rammbock is hide and seek... with zombies!

These movies sounds interesting, especially Attrocious, but I, like some, have a hard time viewing subtitles, it breaks my concentration on the film. Congratulations to all the films selected, nonetheless!

YellowBrickRoad is in English

Subtitles are definitely a touchy subject, some people won't watch a movie if it's in subtitles and some people won't watch if you overdub. Rammbock is a good movie and not too dialog heavy so I think it might work either way, I'd say at least give it a shot.
