I am glad a lot of people didn't like QOS though, tells me the others must be a lot better.

You can't write the series off over QOS. Definitely check out all of the older ones. I'm not a Bond fanboy but overall they're good movies. The only ones I don't care for are two that Brosnon was in. The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day.

I fucking the love Bond films, all of them (well maybe not Never say Never..).

I think Connery is the best bond ever, my girl thinks it craig, my best friend he likes Moore's performance. I think each bond is basically a zeitgeist of their times. Connery was the "mad men" era, womanizing, sex machine. Moore, the campy old man, Lazerby had on only one film, Dalton had that 90's excess to him, and Dalton was caught up in that gaget crazy bullshit.

Craig reflects this post-bourne ideal of action leads. Totally asskickers, but emotionally stunted. Like M says in the movies, he is a weapon, no more, no less. Hopefully with Skyfall (and the five additional moves that Craig has signed up for) they will flush him out, give him more humanity, cause if done right he could be up there with connery, well at least could.

As far as Adele's theme, I kind of like, I'm on a Flo and the Machine kick and think she has that old school theme, but could of written a more upbeat tune akin to "you know my name" from Casino Royale, but I guess "skyfall" will reflect a more sober mood for the film?

I could easily right a paper on Bond and his films.

Watched it today and I can wholeheartedly say: what a blast on every frontline.
Totally satisfied by it. But what I liked most was the splendid cinematography by Roger Deakins. We all know he does work regularly for the Coen Brothers. His images and frames were outstanding and once again a feast for the eyes. Just pure brilliance. Don't know why, but the image itself was razorsharp, I think it was a 4K projection. In fact, I have never witnessed such sharpness in a long time in theater, if not ever.
Daniel Craig was fantastic as well, so to speak for Javier Bardem, who walks the thin line from psychopath to ice-coldness perfectly. And the title song by Adele is quite a hommage to the good ol' Bond days. Such a catchy tune.
And oh yes...the action scenes. Go see it for yourself, some have quite the character becoming a classic in the Bond franchise. Only two words: metro wreck.

Can't complan at all...go see it!

Pumped to see this. AND I have a free ticket, so....

Craig is right behind Connery as the best Bond, IMO.

Definitely. I can't see how anyone cannot support Craig when he's been in two of the Bond movies ever. OK, so I haven't seen Skyfall yet but going by the positive reviews , WOM etc it's easy to say that Skyfall will be an excellent film.
