I thought that Sheri was solid in The Devil's Rejects and H1... although she was iffy in House of 1000 Corpses and completely useless in H2. Will be interesting to see how her role in this film plays out.

For convenience:
Looks alright, and I like the concept. Visually though, Rob needs to pick a street. Either gritty realism, or slick music video neon. The clash just doesn't work very well, but I guess at this point it's kind of his signature. I'll check it out. It looks different than what's out there at least.

The guy knows how to put together a film visually, with House and TDR being the best examples. That's why I haven't given up totally on Rob. Halloween just didn't fit his aesthetic. It's the dreadful scripts that let him down. Hopefully he's left the white trashiness that he's known for out of this.

while i have no issue with rob's white-trash sensibilities, i agree that lords looks...different in tone than rob's other work, which is exciting. rob has certainly demonstrated evolution in his visual style, and lords looks to build upon and extend that. it'll be exciting to see him do something that, at this point, looks and feels different.
and i'm excited to see sheri's dj...
