i wont hold my breath for this one. h2 sucked so bad. the first was ok for a remake. and ho1000c and the devils rejects were both great, but when he put ho1000c out i considered him a novelty director, and didn't expect him to make anything good after that but he's 2-2 so i don't know, maybe it wont be sh%T, but like i said...

I'll check this movie out. Zombie is one of the best directors working today. H2 was a cluster fuck of a film, but its still better then the majority of films that are released.

Well there's that and then there's how many times do you give someone with a very poor track record a chance ?

Four movies Mr Zombie has made, two original and yet they all exist in the same grimy hillbilly redneck universe.

I have no doubts that this movie will too. It's all RZ knows.

i never liked any of his movies. they are way too over the top for me. the poster looks cool, though, and it sounds like it could have potential. i'm just hoping he tones it down a bit and takes a more psychological/atmospheric approach.

Land of the Dead and Diary of the Dead for example sucked, too.
But I gave Romeros new movie, Survival of the dead a chance and it was really good. Not as good as the first trilogy, but still a nice movie.

I guess if you didn't like his first two movies (we are ignoring H1&2 here), you won't have much fun with the new one. I somehow have the feeling, it will be a witch themed Ho1000c. At least when it comes to the style of the movie. At least I hope so. I really liked his first movie. So far... Ho1000c is his best movie.
