I think it should be a direct sequel to the first, in that it should start right after the last shot of the previous because why would anyone ever go back in to that lake after that. A flooded town could work, because i can't think of a way to top the massacre sequence from part 1.

This is one of the few times im actually 100% down for a sequel. I just hope they don't rush it and ruin the potential. Its my understanding the dimension is gonna have a poll up at some point as to what celebrity (maybe celebrities) fans want in the sequel.

Like I said there is tremendous potential. Hope they dont screw it up.

How bout some old Power Rangers, Mark Hamil and/or the two guys from Return of the Living Dead 1 and 2

And

EDIT: Dang, just looked it up. Both are still alive, but Frank, the 2nd one there is gonna be 87 in November. If you can't use him, could still maybe use his character with Freddy/Thom Mathews.
