Default VHS Comeback!

Recently Mondo Video has been releasing a couple of select films on VHS in the last couple of years and other companies are slowly following in there path. I'll try my best to keep a account of the release dates for upcoming VHS releases

Cards Of Death

Sonno Profondo

Hipster Holocaust

Soultangler

I'm thrilled to see newly released vhs tapes with old style covers but my main question is... are these VHS tapes worth pursuing for the price(usually prices are around $25!) or should I just save my money for more dvds?

This. This has been a thing with some companies for a while now.

But yeah I like the option. Always cool to see VHSs being offered for films where it befits the style.

Recently started collecting VHS again but its hard due to the fact the tapes I really want are incredibly overpriced.

When I was young it was my dream to own my own video store as they were pretty much my youth. So sad to see them go but, if vinyl can make a comeback I can't see why VHS can't.

A big fear of mine has been they'd stop selling VCRs.

For a long time now.

Well there is one thing you could do to prepare for this situation. Stock up! Stock up like a doomsday prepper

I'm sure there are thrift stores in your area, pawn shops, etc.
They tend to go for about $10 where I live so anytime I go VHS hunting and I see one that's in good shape, I try to grab it. I have 4 VCR's right now, but I wanna get at least 10 total.

And I will soon find some VCR Repair Videos on Youtube so when any of them do go bust I may be able to salvage parts or fix it outright.
