Cinematic Shocks is here! From the ashes of Cinematic Horror Archive comes my new blog that unlike CHA will be here to stay. I will be publishing a new article on average once a week applying intelligible in-depth analysis to horror, exploitation and other shocking cinema.

At this moment, there are 42 pieces for you to read. These include two brand new reviews exclusive to the site - check out my write ups of Thriller: A Cruel Picture (1974) and Deadbeat at Dawn (1988). There are 35 updated versions of all of my articles from my old blog all fully revised and are now much better reads. There are also links to 5 of my reviews up on Zombie Keeper.

I've finished designing the blog and it looks ten times better than Cinematic Horror Archive. I've now begun the process of revising and publishing all my best old work from CHA while I write new articles. I predict to annouce the official launch of Cinematic Shocks sometime next month.

I should be announcing the official launch of Cinematic Shocks in the next couple of weeks a bit earlier than first thought. I've decided to put on hold writing new material to get through revising and publishing all of my old work.

Though I will have two new reviews to go up for the blog's opening with another following soon after. Then I'll be publishing a massive new feature about a week after that. From then on, I'll be posting a new article on the site on average once a week.

I'm very happy with the design of the layout and I'm really looking forward to getting back to it providing the best possible reads I can.
