I don't think I'll be stunned. I don't care what happened 'x' amount of years ago. Yeah, it was all horrible. I've seen/read about the worst of it all before anyway. Same story told a different way. Hell, the Nazi's were kind compared to Unit 731.

Although the Nazis death toll is a hell of a lot higher. I've always wanted to see it, but I'm not paying $30.

"Monsters Ball"......A very good, raw, and gritty drama featuring a story of loss, tragedy, racism, life changes, and love. The cast is strong, with Billy Bob Thornton and Halle Berry leading the way. Berry won the 2001 Best Actress Oscar for this movie, and Thornton was overlooked for a Best Actor nomination. Heath Ledger, Peter Boyle, and Sean Combs round out the supporting cast and all 3 are memorable. There are some hard-hitting and very intense scenes involving the 3 deaths, as well as a smoldering and steamy sex scene!! However, the ending is rather weak and a bit of a letdown.

7/10

The Martian Chronicles- Part 1: The Expeditions- Very dated and slightly boring TV mini-series from 1980. Goes better with a quart of ale and a bag of weed.

I love how the brought it into this era with the whole cyber hacking. There really isn't a bad film so far in the franchise. I do think the first is the least exciting though. I'm going to be getting to BluRay once they release a new boxset with 5 in it. 9/10
