This is eerily similar to Stranger Than Fiction but separates itself from that film by introducing a romance story. Somehow it works and is quite original in the end.

I'll be catching up on some VHS in the next few days.

Gamer [2009]

Nothing original here but this film is a massive guilty pleasure. The action is very well done and doesn't let up. Just a really, really fun movie.

"Superman 2".....The theatrical version from Richard Lester. I find Part 2 to be better than the original. More special effects, fun, campy moments, and more adventure and action all come into play. Could have done without Sarah Douglas though. Man..what a poor actress!! Christopher Reeve delivers a more dramatic performance in this too, as both his characters go through different changes and experiences. Margot Kidder is wonderful as "Lois Lane" and also has more dramatic scenes. Terrance Stamp is also a great addition to the cast and he plays a great menacing villain. A terrific sequel!!

10/10

Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy - 10/10

This is the very definition of documentary. Not only is it fantastic in giving details and information about the legendary Nightmare of Elm Street series, but it is extremely enlightening in regards to showing the process of movie making in general. Absolutely fantastic. A must see for everybody.

The Imposter - Now this is a juicy documentary. Starts out obvious enough. It's about a guy who managed to successfully steal the identity of a missing child, and get welcomed into a family that he never belonged to. After that story is told though, things turn really interesting. I won't say anymore than that. Just check it out. Very intriguing stuff.
