That's during the final monologue right? When they meet in the bar?

I love that film, its one of Wenders' better films. Paris,Texas is my favorite. Wings of Desire is absolutely hypnotic... part meditation on human experience, part romance, part political statement. Lovely. The Criterion blu-ray is outstanding.

The Lorax - 7/10

Its hard to dislike children's films.. but this one just felt a bit rushed. I'm sure really young kids will love it. Visually its beautiful and I love the environmental message. Its clearly made for a very young audience.

The Beverly Hillbillies 8/10 The casting was spot on but it lacked some familiarity of the original series.

Tremors 2: Aftershocks - 7/10 one of the better sequels ever made in my opinion.

Yeah all 3 were pretty fucked up. Robert really creeped me out. He's a talented artist, though. I've heard of the man and his work but this is the first time I actually got a good look at it.

His brother Charles was also talented, despite his homosexual pedophiliac tendencies.

I'll have to give this doc another watch soon.

Pygmalion ( 1938 )
The famous play by Bernhard Shaw from 1912 in its first interpretation for the big screen. Didn't know a few days ago, that My Fair Lady isn't unique, but previously already filmed in 1938.
The 1938 version is very entertaining and playful, with a slightly more smugly Henry Higgins and an also outstandingly performing Eliza Dolittle, though she doesn't reach by far the beauty by Audrey Hepburn. But actin-wise - top notch. And it isn't being interpreted as a musical.
I hope I can catch this on DVD, since the Criterion DVD is OOP.

9/10

Wenders is basically always philosophical and meditative, making his movies hard to approach for the common moviegoer.

Ice - 4/10

Return to me - One of my personal favorite comedies.

Red Dawn (remake) 7/10
^^ When you're not sitting around making a thorough comparison between this and the original, it's pretty solid survival film.

She's All That - 8/10
