The Paperboy - Started off okay, but fell flat at the end. - 5/10

Resident Evil: Retribution - 9/10

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters - Lacked any real depth, but was an entertaining popcorn flick. - 7.5/10

Movie 43 - I get the feeling this movie will leave everyone laughing their asses off, or leaving the theater pissed off halfway through. The first half seemed like they were simply trying to top all the raunchy, over-the-top-ness of recent films like Ted and The Hangover, and unfortunately, it often felt forced and uninspired. The second half had some hilarious segments that elevated the movie, as much as such a crass, crude, unapologetic film can be elevated. My fave was Vicotry's Glory, followed by Beezel, The Pitch, Super Hero Speed Dating and Happpy Birthday. If you go see it, be warned, you may get completely offended and pissed off. The moviemakers just don't care. And if you don't feel the need to walk out on it, be sure to stay for the final segment after they list who directed/starred in each segment. - 7/10

As good as the first. I'm a fan of these flicks.

Sinister
Bully (2011)

I thought Sinister was really eerie at times. Id like to see Hawke tackle more roles like this

"Knowing"...Pretty good sci-fi thriller. I enjoyed the storyline for the most part with the numbers/predictions. It was actually a very well crafted story that came together nicely. I also found it freaky in some parts. But then the ending fell a bit flat. The special effects were awesome. Nicolas Cage delivered a good performance. Rose Byrne as "Diana" was pretty weak. The character annoyed me all to hell with the crying and hysterics and was actually happy to see her get killed off!! The youngsters playing the kids were spot on for what they were given. Loved the ending effects with the cities and all that being burned up. I also think the music score for the rioting/city in chaos scenes is stupid. It should have been a score that sounded like utter doom and despair. A pretty solid flick.

7/10

Inglorious Bastards

First viewing and in all honesty I was pretty disappointed. After hearing so much about it I was pretty let down really. It wasn't bad but I just felt it dragged in a lot of places. And the characters were woeful for Tarantino, the only one worth remembering was the Colonel 'Jew Hunter' and I did like Fassbender's character too. But apart from that, and the hot ass chick who owned the cinema it didn't take my fancy a lot. I'll be giving it another shot for sure, but yeah I think it's one of his weaker films.

Watched Death Proof again though and loved it even more than the first time.

I wasn't that big a fan of it when I saw it the first time, but after watching it a second time, I completely fell in love with it. The action is pretty good, but what makes it so fantastic is the absolutely phenomenal dialogue. It's also really tense, and I dig the pacing, even though some of the parts were slower.

I also gotta say that I've got a thing for multilingual films.
