Men In Black 3 - 8.5/10

What a blast this movie was! I'm a fan of the first two (yeah, both of them) and this was probably my favorite of the three. I've never understood why these movies get so over-analyzed. To me they're like comic books brought to life. Hysterical, action packed, and quite clever in many parts.

Excision - I don't think they took advantage of some great things they had going for it. They tried to make the main girl be messed up by the priest but he doesn't ever really do anything wrong to her, he does his best. With John Waters as the priest it was a perfect opportunity for a much trashier priest who wrongs her. The sex-ed teacher was hilarious and very likable, I feel they should have used him more in trying to help set the girl straight. Acting was good all around, Traci Lords killed it as an uptight, helicopter super bitch mom but it all seemed like filler getting to the end.

It's one of his lesser movies, but still worth a watch. Some nice gore and James Woods is awesome.

Not quite as good as Escape From LA (guilty pleasure of mine) but way better than Ghosts Of Mars.

I just watched Pulp Fiction on BluRay, bloody brilliant transfer might I add. I can't believe I hated this when I first saw it. Shame on me. 10/10

Army Of Darkness - 9/10

My least favorite in the series but still a great movie.

Troll Hunter - 4/10

Caught the last half of this. The special effects were pretty cool but the shakey cam pissed me off and the ending was stupid/

Earth Girls Are Easy - 1/10

After watxhinf a lirrle of this movie today I remembered why I hated it when I wains younger, because it fucking sucked. Everything from the acting to the sheer cheesiness of the story and whatnot was stupid.

Death Race 2000 (75) - I love it. As evidenced by recent dystopian films, the formula has not changed much or improved. 8/10

Silver Lining's Playbook - 10/10

Well fuck! I was not expecting this to blow me away. Honest and realistic without sacrificing the non-stop wave of humor and powerful emotion. Phenomenal performances from everybody. This is the romantic comedy that breaks the mold. This is what Hollywood needs to be making. Might be my favorite of 2012.

I didn't get it either on first viewing. One of/if not my favorite movie ever now.
