Dredd - Damn good flick. It pretty much lives up to the hype. It's impressive how they pulled off a convincing Mega City One complete with all the details. Wish they gave Dredd as much depth as the rookie, as the film was focused on her character arc, which was kind of cool but different. The visuals and texture of the film were pretty amazing. More! 9/10

Lincoln - 10/10

had to push this up to a 10. Absolutely beautiful and powerful film. One of the best scripts I've seen used in a VERY long time. In my opinion, it is the best script that Spielberg has ever worked with. This is his best film since Saving Private Ryan. Welcome back to the spotlight sir.

Killer Joe - 3.0/5.0

Wasn't expecting much but fairly decent for what it was. There's one scene where you won't look at KFC quite the same way again.. probably the only thing this film will be remembered for.

It will be also remembered for Matthew McCockney (something like that) brilliant performance, in which he proves that he can pull out a badass character, aside from his former pink-colored feelgood movie roles. Completely convincing in this role.

I have no doubt that this film is no second War Horse. Can't wait, but I have to.

House at the End of the Street- The premise of this is utterly laughable, and in the end it left me with more questions than answers. i probably wouldn't have even watched it if not for the glowing presence of the lovely and talented Jennifer Laurence, who single-handedly carries the entire movie on her pretty little shoulders. 5/10

What else can I say about this absolutely perfect thriller/horror film? Ultra realistic and genuinely unsettling.
