8/10
Maya is based on a real operative who is given a lot of the credit for the tracking down of Bin Laden, she is only known as Jen in the articles and stories about her (because she's still in the field working other cases), but apparently she's pretty similar to the character that Chastain portrayed her as. She took no shit, clashed with superiors, was smart as hell and was the one pushing the courier angle.

The more I read about her, the more I think Chastain nailed it.

Texas Chainsaw 3D 7/10

Leatherface and final girl Alexandra Daddario both looked great, I really enjoyed their dynamic. It's too bad that the rest of the characters are totally unlikable in every way( Cheating boyfriend and best friend, friendly hitch-hiker who ends up being a thief, murderous, corrupt Mayor ETC...)

There was some pretty nifty gore and a few choice 3D effects as well...

Django Unchained 10/10

A nearly flawless film, I've seen it 3 times now!

Cut out Kerry Washington's Broomhilda ( Her performance is utter shit) and the horse tricks at the end ( so lame and out of place) and I would love it even more, those are my only two complaints...

Though I thought Washington did a fine job.

Seven Psychopaths - 10/10

This was a fucking blast!

It's well written, funny as hell, the violence is cranked way up and there are a number of stories that keep it interestingly bizarre.

Rockwell is so god damn underrated, what he does for the cemetery shootout scene is fucking gold. Farrell, Walken, Waits and Woody were all great too and they all throw in a bunch of laughs. There's also emotion to be had here, as the characters are so good that you end up really rooting for some and even feel a bit for the ones you root against.

Great film, loved it, watching it again tomorrow.

And the graveyard shoot-out had me in stitches. "That's not enough, so he pulls out a shotgun!" Hahaha.

I can easily see director Martin McDonagh becoming one of my favorites. He's a two for two with In Bruges and this.

10/10.
I really, really want to watch this film. Too bad my local cinema doesn't show it...

No, I've only seen the normal version of it, but it was some years ago as well, so it's time for a re-watch.

Oh yes, he is. Small, yet incredibly memorable role. He fucking kills it!

Such a twisted and clever movie.

Horrifying and hilarious.

Sam Rockwell is an absolute pisser. I loved it.
