Dead Heat - A buddy cop horror comedy with a brilliant premise. Things start out great with a fast paced gun fight, and some decent one liners. As time goes by though, the one liners from the sidekick cop played by Joe Piscopo go from amusing to groan inducing, he pretty much just calls everything gory "disgusting". The FX are top notch and a treat to see. Vincent Price has a limited (but important) role. There's some definite fun to be had with this one. For instance there's a scene where dead animals in a butchers shop come to life and attack the two cops, classic stuff. It's for sure worth a watch, but not something I can see myself watching very often. 6.5/10
