Killer Nerd-4/10

Sigh. This could have been a fun little film but it's ruined by the film's slowly paced and dull first hour. He doesn't even become the killer nerd until 65 minutes in (of 90 minutes). Scenes just drag on forever and the lighting is god awful in places.

Toby Radloff is something else, though.

I'll watch the sequel later...if I get through it.

The Grey

This was like Frozen for grown folks and ten times more awesome. See it before it leaves theaters and you won't regret it.

Took Hubby to see "The Woman In Black" today.... I was a bit disappointed.... dont get me wrong... I enjoyed the film... but none of the scenes made me jump...... beautifully done as far as the set for the time period... story line was decent.. just not enough "umph" for me....

I just watched The Thing (2011) and it was better than I expected. I had low expectations so maybe that was a factor.

I thought Mary Elizabeth Winstead was very good as Kate ( the female Mcready) and the ending credit sequences that tied it to Carpenter's was cool to see. The CGI overload was a major problem though......

6/10
