movie is some kind of weird masterpiece. slow burn film-noir at its finest.
That's a good song. I personally prefer Desire - Under Your Spell though. Great film.

I watched The Collector and Haywire last night.

Haywire was kind of stupid really. Very unoriginal and obviously done on the cheap, but it had some redeeming qualities. The fight scenes were pretty good (although at times they were bordering on slapstick), the cast were impressive (although their roles weren't that big) and the lead girl did a great job.

The Thing '82 -- 9/10; It loses a point for stretching 10 minutes of exposition into 30 minutes.

Into the Mouth of Madness -- 10/10; If this had The Thing's FX, it'd be my desert island flick.

Exactly. There was a time when I thought Lucky McKee would be the next hot director.

Watched Vampires.

As an overused title I had never even heard of this one. It's french, and is about a documentary film crew that follows a family of vampires living in Belgium. The movie takes itself completely seriously and I think thats what makes it good and unique.

Paradise Lost 3.
Much of the runtime was taken up with previous footage from parts 1 & 2 but it was still a fascinating doc'.
The only one of the three who still looked familiar was Echolls. The other two looked completely different.
What a fucking mockery of the justice system that in order to be released they had to enter a guilty plea.
