I couldn't agree more. Henrikson and Paxton are cool as hell in this flick and even though I will admit the ending was a bit cut & dry, The Lost Boys ending sucked as well. The main vampire in The Lost Boys was a major letdown in my eyes.

The Lost Boys is a great movie but Near Dark is way more meaner. But over them yeah Lost Boys is shit to me anyways compared to Near Dark.

Easy, dont call them vampires. This movie tried to be "different".

I thought this movie was...ok. It was nothing special and i dont see what the fuss is all about. The characters had good back stories and good developement, but the story was poor. It just didnt keep my interest long enough to care. I also liked the musical score for this movie. It fit the mood and feel of the movie.

Great film, you can see how this movie did have a somewhat influence on Tarantino for From Dusk Till Dawn. Paxton did a great job, and it got everything you could want for an 80's flick. Unique vamp story for its time, and alot more entertaining to me than the Lost Boys (even though I grew up with that film).

As mentioned... a solid flick with not just a shitty blunt ending - but why the fuck do people employ kids who have speech impediments to become actors??? Homer was fucking ANNOYING.

Great F'ing movie, blood transfusion did leave something to be desired but hey.
The bar scene I thought was one of the best horror moments ever. If I was in that situation the customers were I would've been losing it.
Also good to see Paxton and Goldstein reunited from Aliens (Hicks/Hudson?? and Vasquez) think they made this movie just after that came out. She looks so much different from Aliens.
