Hmmm, well I haven't read that anywhere online or in GI. I keep hearing developers are having a hard time making the ports. I can't see why there would be a subscription issue, since you pay for Xbox Live anyway. Why people would pay both Xbox Live and a subscription for a game doesn't make much sense.

Edit - Looks like they do have an MMO for the 360, right now it's in Japan only (a Monster Hunter game). They are forcing people to pay 1400 yen on top of the Xbox Live service to play the game. Didn't see anything that says the game won't or will make it stateside anytime soon. Seems as though they're using Japan as a test market.

fair point. but there's a different to me when it's simply timed quarters in a game, opposed to having 30 seconds to get from point A to point B when I prefer to take my time and enjoy the environment in a game, opposed to rushing through it.

I didn't know it wasn't officially announced? I remember reading it on IGN months ago. I thought it was official.

The "rumors" around the next CoD being set in Nam have been there since a few days after the release of MW2. And I say "rumors" because the info was legit and cofirmed but Activision hadnt made an "official" release yet. WaW completely redeemed Treyarch as far as single player goes and theyve alwayd had solid multiplayer, so Im fucking pumped for what Treyarch can deliver next.

Anyone playing the new AvP and have any thoughts? Ive heard nothing but bad news. The multiplayer is supposed to be where this game is at yet since the three campaigns are the same repetitive nonsense for about 4 hours each. Ive heard the controls for multiplayer (mainly Aliens) are simply horrible.
