I'm long past the whole Batman thing with Joel Schumacher. He's still a great director in my eyes and 8mm is extremely underrated. Plus if he didn't ruin the Batman franchise we would have never got Batman Begins and The Dark Knight

As for this film I really liked it. It ran at a fast pace, the cast was good, the villain was cool and it was entertaining throughout. Some wank CGI aside it pleased me. Good Job Mr. Schumacher.

Good point,Christopher Nolan can otdirect him any day.plus he only has made a few good films,The Lost Boys,Phone Booth,Falling Down.

But would you rather have only a few good films then no good films at all? Those films do indeed rock. Especially The Lost Boys.

What no love for Tigerland? Or the undeniable cheese fest that was Flatliners? I mean the latter was bad, but at least it's watchable. Unlike Phonebooth, yikes.

Back on topic, I probably won't see Blood Creek. Why? Shumacher going basically direct to video is the official stamp of "Oh, hell no," in my book.

I picked it up on Tuesday, I still have yet to watch it yet. From what I hear it's pretty decent.

As some have stated Schumacher, for all of his sins against nature and Batman, has made a couple of very good films. We're talking Tigerland, Phone Booth, The Lost Boys, 8MM, A Time to Kill, Flatliners, and, as MovieGeek so eloquently put it, Schumacher's screw ups led to Nolan’s Batman Begins + The Dark Knight.

Blood Creek looks like total garbage though.

Just seen this and quite enjoyed it apart from the CGI already mentioned.
Pretty cool idea and I quite liked the villan also.
Acting wasnt half bad either.
