Default Empire Of The Ants

One of my alltime guilty pleasures. Growing up I used to watch this movie late at night on the weekends. Such classic 1977 sci fi cheese!! I love it!! Joan Collins is a hoot to watch. So campy. Robert Lansing as "Dan" was great to watch. Very good actor. Pamela Susan Shoop from "Halloween 2" is in here. She was "ok". Handsome John David Carson as "Joe" was fine in his role. I found that the men were better than the women in this movie.

5/10

That's really dusting off the old memory banks.

It's right up there with "Kingdom of the Spiders" w/William Shatner!

Exactly!! Two movies I have to watch when I catch them on. Total guilty pleasures I never get tired of. I own Kingdom, but haven't found Empire yet.

Thank you!!

Frogs gets bashed a lot, but I really like it. And, of course, you have to add Squirm to that list.

Empire of the Ants was playing reguarly on the encore channels a month or so back. I was able to burn it onto dvd. But, if youre gonna mention that film, You absolutely have to mention Food of the Gods! LOL!

Food of the Gods is beyond bad, chessy goodness! But the sequel? My sis got pissed off, because we couldn't find the "No animals were harmed" disclaimer at the end.
