Horror remakes don't seem to be doing well lately...this movie is going to be a particular hard sell regardless without Campbell in the lead...he's become the face of this franchise...

Not gonna see this. I have no problem with a respectful, well crafted remake (The Hills Have Eyes, Dawn of the Dead, etc.,), and for all i know this remake may offer that as well. But the first two original movies have such a special place in my heart, i just have zero interest in seeing it done over with new people.

Pass.

She is cute (can't believe its Phil Collins daughter, he is an awesome musician/drummer), but female Ash? This remake is sounding worse and worse. I wouldn't be surprised if Rami announced on on Apil 1st it was all a big joke, because there is no way this can be real.

i think I like it better. At least this way some shitty actor can't fuck up the role of ash.
