Yeah, apparently you DO need shit spelled out for you.

Any time one is talking about one's intentions they are always using guesses and common sense. Some guesses are more educated than others, as in the case of Evil Dead where commentaries and interviews with cast and crew help you to make a more informed guess of said intentions of how the product was to be. Even if we are presented with the cold hard truth, it's still a guess, because for all we know they could be lying. But we as human beings just have to accept that and put faith into what someone says and take it as truth. We'll never know it's the truth but we can use common sense to make that judgment. In the case of NOES, it's a less informed guess, but still a guess regardless. The only way for it to NOT be a guess was for you to have been there personally or actually be a mind reader. Now I figure anyone would know this, but apparently this was an impossible concept for you to grasp, so I'm laying it all down for you for future reference. Please refer to this post the next time an overwhelming urge to make further idiotic posts comes over you. That is all.

But.... back to Evil Dead, now that this whole thing has run it's course between you- yes?

Sam Raimi and original producing partners Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell (who also starred in the original franchise) are gearing up to remake their cult sensation THE EVIL DEAD through their long standing Ghost House Pictures partnership. Raimi and Tapert were such instant fans of Fede Alvarez’s short film “Panic Attack” that they set up a blind deal with the filmmaker and through that process have attached Fede Alvarez to write and direct the film. Alvarez wrote the script with Rodo Sayagues. Academy Award® winning screenwriter Diablo Cody is currently doing revisions on the draft. Ghost House is committed to renewing the franchise and has the film on the fast track.
