It fucking sucks ass man. These stupid kids tend to ruin the experience most of the time with their cell phones, talking and annoying laughing.

The babies, well....they just cry and eventually have to be taken out.

Also, the lights came on in the theater about 20 minutes before the movie started and the manager checked everybody to make sure we actually had tickets. Turns out some kids bought tickets to a different movie and snuck in to Evil Dead. We all laughed hysterically as they were escorted out of the theater in front of everybody.
If only the theaters around here were like that all the time with R-rated movies. Sometimes they're super strict and others they just don't care. Reminds me when I went to go see Texas Chainsaw 3D with my brother and we had to go through two checks to be sure we were of age. One near the hall where the movie was played at and another at the door. Even though the movie was complete shit I commend them for keeping the kiddies out.

God I wish my theater was like that.

I saw that piece of vomit the day it came out and there were like 3 people in the theater... It was a film I was happy to see in such an empty theater.

Honestly though, my screening of Evil Dead was a godsend. Nobody said a fucking thing (outside of some laughs and a few shocked sighs). I wanted to hug everybody when it was over.

After my initial screening of Evil Dead, I wanted to kill and destroy.

Seriously Nightmare Warrior.... enough. I mean we totally get that you flick the bean to thoughts of that movie, but you're starting to make some of us really sick.... stop it.
I think Scream did more damage to modern horror as far as the "rules" are concerned. I mean, sure, it pointed out slasher tropes, but since then, any and everybody not initially fans of horror were parading the rules around like they were seasoned veterens, and were even trying to apply them to non-slasher horror movies. I love Scream, don't get me wrong, but the whole "posers acting like pros" and quoting the rules like they've been watching these movies before 1996... urgh.

There are no damn rules to horror movies. Why limit ourselves?

Without rules, we have anarchy.
