If it's anything like how it goes down in the book, they'll have to rework some things to make it more television-friendly. I know AMC lets their shows push the envelope a bit, but the shit that went down between Michonne and The Governor was too much to show on television.

Ep 5 was very entertaining, not good per se, but yes very entertaining. I hadn't imagined life in Woodbury to be so damn ridiculous. One minute everyone acts as though they're in Pleasantville, and the next, they're cheering on some strange amateur wrestling event with zombies. Michonne is her usual pouty self, and Rick is off his rocker. Fun times.

In the comics, Michonne showed up at the prison and was part of Rick's crew first.

The Governor captures Michonne (and Glenn) and rapes and beats her repeatedly, over a few days, while Glenn can only listen. I think that's to add embarrassment on top of the torture, as well as get answers from Glenn about where they are from. Michonne eventually escapes and severely tortures the Governor, cutting off his balls and other body parts with her sword. I think she also kills his zombie daughter.

Yeah, it was sloppy writing, I can't believe they missed the obvious first line as Rick answered the phone.
Lori should have sang "Hey, I just left you, and this is crazy, but I'm your dead wife, so call me maybe."

Massive missed op' right there by the writers..
