It was a low blow, I know. I wanted to puke just because I mentioned his name. But you're pretty much attacking me for my belief in what I want to see happen with the show. I'm not trying to bitch, I'm definitely addicted to TWD, but I was just blurting out what I thought.

Lots of big happenings in this terrible episode.....Lori's acting was very laughable.

I was so hoping Merle would question The Governor:
"Are you seriously practicing your long game, or are you just trying to look like a badass?" T-Dogg. The long journey is finally over. A God died tonight. RIP On the final moments: Not bad, but I wish Lori had gone out the way she did in the comics. I guess that might've bee a little too extreme though

I couldn't help but laugh at...
the paturient Lori halting her contractions to give a maudlin speech to Carl, only to end with something like "Okay, now it's time to get your hands dirty." 'Twas the cheesiest moment yet. That aside, this was a great ep. It'll be interesting to see how Rick... takes the knowledge that Carol, whom he is seemingly about to save, was the reason for the breach in the fence.

Most people I know are kissing the ass of this episode which I thought was the worst so far.... The acting was fucking terrible. It was really hard to watch that scene concerning Lori without wanting to pull my hair out wondering how ANY director could have let that performance slide.....Like, seriously, THAT was the best she could've done.. weak as fuck.
The episode was full of false meaningless tension. Pretty much nothing that happened was engaging in the slightest....and we say goodbye to a heavily underused character that I'm supposed to feel ANYTHING at all towards? Tdog was the most useless (main) character that i've ever seen come and go in any show I've ever watched...Did anyone feel anything at all when he died? Is there even a point to put spoiler tags around text involving Tdog? He never even needed to be in this show.... Yeah, I'm back to hating this show, and it's only taken 1 episode. Piss poor. |

I noticed this ep had many a jarring cut from mundane convo to in-yer-face zombie action. At first, it seemed problematic, but then I realized it made me forget about all the boring (but occasionally necessary) shit. I think they might have found a way to satisfy both sides of the audience: the drama queens and the horror junkies.
