It's the old bait and switch. They plod along all season, pissing everyone off, and then they pull a great 10 minutes out the air and go on break knowing that's what's going to get people to switch on come February.

I finally caught up with this show, thank god. And I am super surprised to see so much hate here. Personally I enjoyed every single episode of this show so far. Specially the last one, that was amazing! I don't see where all the hate for this show is coming from.

Did Hershel want them to leave because he was afraid of his Barn secret getting out of because they weren't helping with farm chores? Probably a bit of both, I guess. I still can't believe that the only thing these people have done since arriving on the property is cook one dinner. Don't remember if it was mentioned earlier in the season but Hershel knows he can't support a larger group on with his farm, they would exhaust his ability to keep it going, in any case that is his reasoning in the books that he has to look out for his first.

By the way....The people saying all the shit about "In the comics this is how the farm scene plays out" It's a bunch of BS. I just looked through my collection and found the farm scenario. It is 1 and a half issues long. Issue 10 and 11 to be exact. They camp there for one or two nights then Rick asks if it would be OK for them to stay in the barn and Hershel tells them that is where they keep their dead and they wouldn't want to do that. One more night passes and Hershel is corralling one more zombie into the barn and that is when they pour out and the group massacres them. Hershel apologizes and just about shoots himself but is stopped by his daughter. The end.
There was absolutely no reason for this sequence to take 7 fucking episodes.

A few weeks ago I started watching Terra Nova, cause Speilberg was behind it and it had dinasaurs and shit. But, after about three weeks the story seemed to go nowhere and I didn't care for the characters. So, I just stopped watching it.

I liked every episode as well, but Jesus, it sure was uneventful.

I'm in the same boat. Which makes me not care about waiting for the next half of the season.
