Actually I feel like one of the few people that really liked the 1st film. It was realistic and gritty and Mick is truely an unforgettable villian with that damned unnerving laugh I honestly dont see how so many people couldn't get through this because they think it was slow. I saw the 1st WC at it's midnight release years ago and I was focused every minute You guys should try sitting through Hatchet For A Honeymoon, a movie that really has a slow pace with uninteresting charecters and storyline I cant wait to see a WC sequel, I just wonder how they can still use the true story theme with it though....

Mick is fantastic, but he doesn't show up until 33 minutes into the film. Nothing interesting happens until then.

Wolf Creek was way over-hyped and not even scary at all. Plus it wasn't that gory either, so if they're doing a sequel it damn well better be a million times more scarier and bloodier all around.

The shots of the metor crater were kinda creepy and the the arguement with the locals at the bar was relevant to Micks charector. But there were a couple other moments early on that werent needed (the beach scene) otherwise it still wasnt a boring movie in my opinion.

It seems that most "survival" horror films have slow beginnings. Even H-wood films like Wrong Turn are like that.

A chick has her fingers sliced off and is stabbed in the back. Another is shot with a rifle while attempting to escape. That same rifle is used to splatter some poor guys brain all over a window. A man is crucified with nails. several rotting, dismembered corpses are around Micks home AND he gets shot in the neck...yeah no gore at all

Haha, the Saw movies makes Wolf Creek look tame IMO. I've seen worse in other films so I guess the "gore" factor is different for us all.

a horror movie doesn't need to have buckets of blood to be successful and that's what I loved about Wolf Creek.
What they did show was enough and the rest was left to your imagination. I guess in todays climate of torture porn and such, using your imagination just doesn't cut it.

Loved the first film so would happily line up for a sequel.
