Dog Soldiers is another I enjoyed a great deal.

Look, I'm not going to sit here and say it's a great or even good film with the merits of filmmaking in mind. But I thoroughly enjoy it. It's a b-movie blast, has a healthy helping of gore & it has one of the hottest chicks on the planet kicking demonic martian ass. And on a serious note I think the set design is quality & I like how everything unfolds in the past tense.

A b-movie western set on Mars courtesy of John Carpenter... Just a fun, fucking movie.

You liked Hostel II over I? I haven't seen II, so...

Planet Terror was poopoo in my eyes - Death Proof was waay > Planet Terror IMO.

Wolf Creek bored me. I have patience for nuanced films, but this did nothing for me.

Hills Have Eyes was a weak remake. Now Dawn of the Dead, on the other hand...
