I remember seeing this at the theater and it had so much hype that I left the theater disappointed, so last night I gave it a re-watch.

I fucking loved it! My god it was better then I remembered it. The movie never lets up and it's just a good time at the movies. I'm glad I re-watched it because it's a fucking gem of a movie. Loved, loved, loved it!

9/10!

I loved this movie! It was so Raimi. Everything about it was. The only thing I didn't like about it was the CGI but I can easily get over that. I don't like to mope about stuff. The humor, the other effects, camera angles were all that I was looking and hoping for. Also the soundtrack is one of my favorites to listen to. I wish I hadn't left my DVD back in Colorado.

Such an under-appreciated flick. It renewed my faith in Raimi after the Spider-Man franchise. It's a terrifically entertaining, well-crafted homage to Night of the Demon/Curse of the Demon.

Wasn't quite as good as I expected but it's still so much fun and classic Raimi. It was good to have him back and hope he returns with something similar soon!

"Drag Me To Hell".....Well what can I say about this? It is a comedy/horror. Wasn't really scary as I assumed it would be..but the seance and demon scenes were freaky. The old woman was freaky too...her and her corpse. LOL!! The gore was soooo campy and cheesy and took away from the movie. It was so "Evil Dead Series" all throughout this movie. In other words...it was old news. What worked with The Evil Dead series is that it came out in the late 70's and 80's. To have ALL of that back again...got a bit cliche' to me. I laughed at alot of the scenes. Entertaining? Yes!! Fun and campy? Yes!! The cast was all over the place though and leads Justin Long and Alison Lohman were hit and miss constantly. Sam Raimi could have had a better cast for the leads. The guy who played the phychic was good..as was Adriana Barraza who played the medium. I was happy to see Justin Long back in a horror movie..but he let me down performance wise. I think he was tons better in Jeepers Creepers. All in all the movie is good and entertaining.

I liked it when I first saw it, but now I kind of hate it. It's full of annoying jump-scares every minute, it's not scary, and not really funny either.
