Watched over the weekend. It's a truly tense city slasher with great character study and acting by Joe Spinell, and master effects work by Savini. At times, it felt like the effects were outshining the directing hand, and that droning noise score that was used is just flat out annoying. 8/10

They cannot half ass the remake. It has to be balls out violent, otherwise the film would've taken a step down in comparison to the original.

Oh my god. l was just reading about the Evil Dead remake which is doomed to fail. Then l come here and discover that Frodo is hamming it up in a remake of the greatest slasher movie ever. Oh, the fucking humanity.
