Stuff commonly gets over to the UK early because they get shipped in time for date of release delivery and it never takes that long.

By the way, I think Tim Lucas had a fucking orgasm writing for those covers

Each one comes with a substantial (20 page) glossy booklet with an essay by Lucas, too (the same booklet is in every release).

That's awesome. Let us know how the transfers are. I wish I was a fan of more of Rollin's work so I'd want to pick them up more.

Tell us how the transfer is, would be great.

I'm a big Rollin fan, but there are a couple of his films that even I'm not overly keen on. I really hope Grapes of Death and The Living Dead Girl come out on BD soon.

An an aside, Redemption/Kino are also releasing the under-rated and brilliant Killer's Moon, along with Virgin Witch in March.

Rollin is very into his lesbian vampire themes. He has the whole surreal-horror weirdness vibe down to a t. His films are very dreamy and often don't follow a cognitive narrative or flowing story; people tend to love him or hate him (he's a bit like Franco in that respect).

I've got a backlog of discs (mainly due to the draft), but I'm hoping to sample a couple of these over the weekend, so I'll let you know.

I'd scoop up Grapes in a second. I'll eventually pick these up, I can't even kid myself.
