The Fifth Element - It's nice to know a guy who can burn Blu Rays. This is excellent. The movie really lends itself to HD. The colours just shine. You'll be amazed at how fresh this looks. If you're a fan, no excuses. This is the definitive version.

It's not the greatest PQ, but I'm guessing the source material isn't the greatest. It still looks pretty damn good though, and the audio is great! I should've bought Kagemusha when I first saw it at HMV. I haven't seen it anywhere since.

I also can't wait for the Yojimbo and Sanjuro Blu's coming out sooN!

I maybe should have help off on getting Yojimbo and Sanjuro on dvd... but I love both of them so much I couldn't resist when I found them for 10 bucks a piece at a local used dvd store.

Oh well! As long as they don't put any extra commentaries on the blu ray i won't be disappointed. I've always liked Akira Kurosawa best when he's not taking himself too serious, as seen in Yojimbo and Sanjuro. Not saying Ran, Rashomon, or Seven Samurai are bad at all! I just love his tongue-in-cheek approach better.
