The last post was 2 weeks ago...And there you are keeping it going...If you really want no part of it then shut the fuck up and post what you need to say about the film...Why don't people get this?...

I find it offensive when people troll - it's disrespect.

I find it offensive when people use the word "troll"...

I also find it extremely hypocritical that you keep coming back and making posts weeks later that keep the thread off track...

Shut. The. Fuck. Up..

The step mom doesn't exist and as a step mom she never existed...She was the woman(nurse) her father had an affair with that drove the mother to commit suicide...Su-Mi hated her so much that she ignored Su-Yeon's pleas for help and is now a wreck with guilt...So she created someone to hate, the step mom...

I think this stands out very well from all the other ghosts movies because the real ghost only makes 2 appearences...(The one in the dream was her mother and just that, a dream)...and the ghost is not the central threat in the movie as it is in Ju-on, Ringu, Dark Water and so on...

As for why I think it's a masterpiece?...The atmosphere, the cinematography, the acting, the great way the pieces of the story unfold and the fact that you can watch it again and catch things you missed the first time...

In short, I fucking love this movie...
well since the thread has been brought back by the same person complaining that it's still around, I might as well comment since I never got to. Actually I'm not really saying anything new just that I agree with everything N2N said. There are few scares, but they truly do stick. I have a sink that slightly resembles the one in the movie, so I was pretty freaked out about that scene. I also love how all the answers just aren't thrown in your face. You have to pay attention to everything. I tried to explain it some jackass friends of mine and they STILL didn't get it, so what do they do? They just decide that it sucks. I'm not implying that if you don't like it that means you didn't "get" it, I'm just saying that I need new friends. But yeah it truly is a beautiful movie, with great atmosphere, great story and great EVERYTHING. Yeah and the Troll insult is lame, I still don't understand it even though I get called it constantly on the IMDB message boards simply for not agreeing with the majority.

Anyway, back to A Tale of Two Sisters which deserves more respect then the freakin morons in this thread could ever comprehend.

A Tale of Two Sisters is a masterpiece.

From the profoundly layered music and scripting, to the ultimate regret.

This is a MUST SEE!!!

I have called A Tale of Two Sisters the greatest horror movie ever made. There are many I would put in it's category though.
Cunt

oh and tale of two sisters is great (as well all stated in the first 4 pages ya douche)

Well I just got through watching this film for the first time and I absolutely loved it. I agree with mr. bungle in saying it was a beautiful movie. The look, the feel, not to mention the acting. Not only was it a very dramatic movie, but it also made me jump a couple of times...and I havent had that happen in a looooong time.

All in all I loved it, and its probably one of the best films Ive seen in a while.

I always it at Wal-Mart for like $8.88 and always pass it. I dont think I would really like it much and everytime I think about actually buying it I think about Kidd and decide against it.

Why don't you think you'll like it?...I'm not saying you would or wouldn't...Just curious...Unless you and kidd have identical tastes then I would say most definitely to pass it up....

It is basically a ghost story from what Ive read, correct? Not really something Im too interseted in. Im positive I wouldnt hate it like Kidd but Im pretty sure I wont love it the way most everyone else does. I havent seen it anywhere to rent, Lackluster Online(yeah, I need to switch to Netflix) doesnt have it, and I dont really want to spend 9 dollars on a movie that I think will be just ok.
