Well, if you're comparing it the shaky-cam BS of recent memory, I agree. However, all the Elm Street sequels still look great, whereas the original is poorly lit and has crap FX.

Its definitley not poorly lit and the FX while not outstanding are great. Tina's and Glenn's death scenes are standouts and are still to this day. The original has atmosphere by the bucket load.

I just watched Tina's death scene, and parts of it are indeed poorly lit. It's also quite bland.

So, you prefer Freddy's Revenge to the original?

Yes. I had no problem with bringing Freddy into reality.

Mmm nothing is wrong with the way its lit, its fucking night time to you know, and Wes didn't really want you to get a real good look at Freddy so early in the movie. *Sigh* some people

Nor did I, but the movie still blows hard when put up with the original.

Oh I get it SLAYher..Your gimmick is to like the worst films in a series and champion them even if you don't really think that.. NOES 2, AAWIP.

Pick up the blu-ray of the original NOES and I think you'll find how well that movie is done.
