I love Greta's full scene, where it's shown that what he is feeding her, is actually herself.

5 had a lot of terrifying material to it actually, it's a shame the strike happened, and it's a shame they took a comic-bookish take on it. I love it, but were it more focussed on darkness in material AND tone it would have been a very well done film I think.

1. Yes I believe it is the bike scene extended.

2. That was awesome. Greta's death was disturbing and I loved it.

3. I believe the director was a huge fan of comic books so not surprised.

That is Julie's death which is also badass.

I mean Chase' death scene when he falls a sleep in the truck. He is also heather's husband. The claw just comes out from the seat and just plunges in his chest.

That's there Facebook page, it seems as though it's a fan film about the murder before Krueger's death, from what I can gather anyway. It's in post production now, looks pretty good, here's wishing it the best!

I wrote about A Nightmare on Elm Street for my University dissertation and even got to interview the director of part 2. Wes Craven really shows his writing ability as its subtext is so sharp in regards to the zeitgeist of that time, just as much as Last House if not more.

Critics can be so lazy with horror as every movie gets bunched in with the thoughtless cash-ins that are endlessly released. Horrors like a Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween were only complimented as to being entertaining and well-made when they are so much more. I guess the poor filmmakers in the genre are partly to blame.
