Default Which native English accent do you have the most difficulty understanding?

("Native" in this context meaning an accent spoken as part of a dialect whose users speak English as a first language.)

Inspired by a conversation elsewhere on the forum.

For myself, I have serious difficulties making out Deep Southern accents, and Cockney/"low English" accents aren't much easier for me in films (even Bowlderized American versions of Cockney as in From Hell can be very difficult for me.) Irish accents are also incomprehensible to me, but pretty to listen to regardless. There are films featuring Gaelic or London characters I can't watch without subtitles.

Australian, the New England regional dialect, and "high English" are pretty easy for me to understand. I've never had much of an issue with African-American Vernacular English, either.

No poll, as there are probably more possible options than the limit of fifteen in our polls.

[American - Midwestern -Illinois here.]

Good luck trying to understand anyone from the eastcoast or north of Scotland.
In England, the west country accent is notoriously hard to understand.

Being an American and as such completely ignorant of everything everywhere, are there major differences between Scottish and Irish accents? About the only experience I have with Scottish accents is through Sean Connery, who probably shouldn't be taken as a typical sample of a Scottish accent but who sounds like a slightly more comprehensible Irishman to my poor ears.
